Corey Wise is a Wisconsin-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter known for his high-octane performances and heartfelt songwriting that blends 90s country grit with modern edge. Since getting his start in 2014 playing college bars and small-town festivals, Corey has become a rising name across the Midwest, captivating crowds with his undeniable energy and genuine connection to fans.

Influenced by legends like Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson—and inspired by the storytelling of Kip Moore—Corey developed a sound that bridges traditional country with rock-driven hooks and raw, honest lyrics. His musical upbringing was anything but one-note, drawing inspiration from hip-hop, classic rock, and country, creating a unique sonic fingerprint that sets him apart from the pack.

Since moving to Nashville in 2017, Corey has shared the stage with acts like Koe Wetzel, Dustin Lynch, Muscadine Bloodline, Josh Ross, Lauren Watkins, and Chase Bryant, building a reputation as a magnetic live performer. “Picture a ’90s country show with a rock band feel—that’s what you can expect when we play,” Wise says of his live shows.

His debut single, “I Don’t Get You,” made a splash with over 150,000 streams on Spotify, followed by a steady stream of releases including “Background,” “Small Town Talkin’,” and more. His latest EP, “Featuring,” released in Winter 2024, showcases his evolution as both a songwriter and a performer, cementing his place as one of country music’s most exciting independent voices.
